Kevin has always enjoyed working with young athletes and teaching the game of basketball. He has over 12 years experience working as a volunteer with the Boys and Girls club, YMA and Little League baseball programs, including a seat on the board of directors with the Little League Baseball League in Renton for 2 years. From 2010 to 2013 Kevin ran a basketball program with 120 athletes and 4 staff for the Positive Alley program, where he met Kelly.

Kevin started working with Local Hoops in 2013 and has been with Kelly ever since. Working with a competitive AAU program has been very rewarding. Teaching top athletes to find their potential on and off the court is something Kevin would not change for the world. As a coach and trainer Kevin is truly getting to do something he loves every day. While with Local Hoops Kevin has won over 20 championships in various leagues and tournaments. As a trainer in the program Kevin focuses on foot work, shooting, repetitive muscle memory, agility, conditioning and defensive positioning.
