Teddy was named an All-Star throughout high school and had a stellar collegiate career as a shooting guard for Georgian College in the greater Toronto area. He began coaching as a youth, starting with a local rec league, then moving on to various developmental camps between Ontario and New York, before returning to his high school, GCVI, as part of the coaching staff for the Varsity Boys team.
He also worked under Coach Tarry Upshaw (Coach Team Canada, Team Jamaica) at Georgian College, working with guards in skills training camps. Later, as part of Shake True Hoops Training, he worked as a personal and small group trainer focusing on boys and girls in elementary through high school.
Currently, Teddy is a member of the administration team with LocalHOOPS. He coaches the 13U Boys AAU Team, 11U Girls Team, and the 17U Boys Team (Assistant) . He is also partnered with multiple private schools throughout Bellevue delivering after school programs and Summer camps to their students (Chestnut Hill Academy, Open Window Private School, Eton School etc.) He takes pride in working with close to 100 kids weekly, teaching basketball skills with a mindset of preparation for life.
Before moving to Sammamish, Washington with his wife and two daughters, Teddy was a regional trainer for Young Drivers of Canada, the most recognized driver education program in the country. He consistently ranked among the Top 10 instructors in Canada as voted by the students. He worked for a decade certifying instructors and over 2,500 students in-class and in-car as the managing instructor for South Ontario.
